Switchroom fire system installation for Northern Star Resources. Comprised of a TYCO MX1 and VESDA VEP, controlling and monitoring a FIKE ProInert IG541 gaseous extinguishant system.

Switchroom fire system installation for Thunderbox gold mine. Completed in Perth, to Australian standards AS 1670.1, AS 1670.5, AS 4214 & ISO 14520.

Switchroom fire system installation for Tropicana gold mine. Comprised of an AMPAC FireFinder Plus, VESDA VEP, and STAT-X condensed aerosol generators.

VESDA installation in a switchroom for Tropicana gold mine. Sampling air from HV switch gear and forming part of a special hazards installation utilising condensed aerosol generators.

Established in 2024 through the acquisition of B&D Fire Supplies, Matera Fire continues the growth and commitment to customer service that Garry and Thomas Hearn, along with their team, built at B&D Fire.

KCGM Growth Project

Design, installation & commissioning of the fire detection & gas suppression systems for 17 transportable switch rooms.

Kens Bore Minesite

Design of the 8 switchrooms for the site fire systems network and graphics system.

Pilgangoora Power Station

Design, installation & commissioning of the fire detection & Stat X suppression systems for the HV switch room.

Mt Weld Expansion Project

Design, installation & commissioning of the fire detection & gas suppression systems for 6 transportable switch rooms. Site integration and commissioning of switch rooms, commissioning and certification of deluge systems, pump sets and linear heat detections systems.

Byford Rail Extension

Design, installation & commissioning of the fire detection & gas suppression systems for the PTA equipment room.

RAAF Pearce

Audit of special hazards systems on aircraft hangar. Perform full system integration testing of foam deluge systems, smoke, flame and gas detection systems and provide compliance report.

Meekatharra & Mt Isa Satellite Stations

Carry out site audits and prepare compliance reports of existing fire systems. Prepare designs and budgets for upgrading of systems.

Christmas Island Phosphates

Design, installation & commissioning of the fire detection & in-cabinet gas suppression systems for transportable switch rooms.

Kathleen Valley

Installation & commissioning of in-cabinet gas suppression systems for underground switch rooms.

Onslow Iron Port
